One Piece, the best-selling manga ever, has already been adapted to over 1000 animated episodes as well as 15 movies. With major success each time, the series is finally set to receive a live-action adaptation, releasing on 31st August.

1Cindry Turns To A Zombie
Victoria Cindry was a famous actress who died after falling off the stage. Dr Hogback, somebody who was obsessed, with her, stole her corpse to make her his own personal zombie servant with the aid of Gecko Moria’s powers.
It is one of the most disturbing moments in history, and most probably will receive a lot of backlash if adapted into live adaptation.

2Akainu murdering the people of Ohara
In the Water 7 arc, it was revealed thatAkainuwas one of the Marines who participated in the Buster Call that destroyed the island of Ohara. It was a massive military operation that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of innocent people. Akainu was shown also shown mercilessly killing people, including a little girl who begged for mercy.
3Ace’s executionIn The Series
In the Marineford arc, Ace is executed by Akainu after being impaled through the chest with his magma fist, which was originally aimed toward Luffy. This scene broke the hearts of many fans, as Ace was a character loved by many.
4Otohime being shot
The Fishman Island arc shows Otohime, the queen of Fishman Island, being shot and killed by Hody Jones. This moment shows the clear message to viewers how much hate has been built up between Humans and Fish-Man over the years.

5Big Mom eating Mother Carmel
Big Mom, one of the former emperors of the sea, was shown eating her adoptive mom Mother Caramel in the Whole Cake Island Arc. This is one of the most disturbing scenes in the series as it showcases what Big Mom’s hunger can drive her to do.
6The Celestial Dragons’ treatment of slaves
The Celestial Dragons is a group that is said to rule the world from the shadows. They are also shown to believe that they are superior to everybody else, and often engage in slavery, dealing physical abuse and forced labor to others. This is something that, if shown in the Live adapted version, will bring a lot of darkness to the show early on.
7Oden Being Boiled Alive
Oden was a powerful samurai who lived in the Wano Country and was the leader of the Scabbards. He was a kind ruler and dreamed of opening the country’s borders to the world, something which was opposed by Orochi, the shogun of Wano. Orochi tricked Oden into believing that he was going to help him open Wano’s borders, but instead, he had him boiled alive.
8Sanji Masked By His Father
Sanjiwas locked up by his father, Judge Vinsmoke, for he was disappointed in his son for not inheriting his family’s Germa genetic enhancements. Sanji was also the only one of Judge’s children who was not enhanced, something which his father saw as a weakness.Eventually, manages to escape from the dungeon and joined the Straw Hat Pirates, allowing him to be free and have the ability to live his life on his own terms.
Nonetheless, what the creators decide to depict in the upcoming live-action series, is something that will mark the start of something new and different from the usual animated form of episodes and movies fans are used to watching, and might just bring a whole another genre of people who watch shows.
