Armie Hammer also missed out on a DC role
While Armie Hammer’s association with Marvel was just based on some rumors, he was all set to play Batman in a canceled DC Justice League movie. Back in 2007, George Miller was about to make aJustice League: Mortalmovie starring Armie Hammer as Batman along with a wide variety of stars as the DC superheroes.
The cast of the movie was very different from the Justice League we have seen in the DCEU. The canceled movie had Adam Brody as The Flash, D.J. Cotrona as Superman, Megan Gale as Wonder Woman, Santiago Cabrera as Aquaman, and several others. Speaking about it toDen of Geek, George Miller blamed a writer’s strike accompanied by some other legal issues for the cancellation.

Miller’s take on the Justice League was a unique one. It would have focused on a series of chaos that ensued when Batman’s files containing the data of his team members and ways to neutralize them were stolen by a villain and implemented against them. Unfortunately, Armie Hammer lost the chance to play a version of Batman as George Miller’s most ambitious project was shelved forever.
