But, when one is the daughter of one of the richest people in the world, it is definitely affordable. That is what happened to equestrian and heiress to the Microsoft fortune Jennifer Gates, who bought a luxurious triplex penthouse in New York City.
Jennifer Gates recently bought a $51 million penthouse apartment at 443, Greenwich Street, New York City. The Tribeca building is known for being a celebrity favorite and has hosted actors and other celebrities such as Lewis Hamilton, Harry Styles, Ryan Reynolds, and Meg Ryan.

Jennifer Gates And Her Homes
The daughter of the seventh richest person in the world (at the time of writing), Jennifer Gates bought the penthouse condo at the Tribeca building on Greenwich Street. The building is a favorite among celebrities as it was a restored pre-war building that was converted into an apartment. It offers luxurious amenities and is known to be ‘paparazzi proof’. The apartment reportedly costs $51 million.
The twenty-six-year-old Jennifer Gates is an accomplished equestrian and is studying medicine at Mount Sinai’s Icahn School of Medicine. She had previously graduated with a degree in human biology and after taking a year-long break to pursue her passion as an equestrian, she joined medical school. She mentioned that her parents’ work with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and her childhood pediatrician inspired her to pursue medicine.
Gates married Olympic equestrian Nayel Nassar in late 2021. The couple welcomed their newborn baby earlier this year. They seemed to have bought the house after the birth of their child. Jennifer Gates previously owned a $5 million apartment which was previously owned by basketball player Carmelo Anthony. She was also gifted a 124-acre horse farm in Westchester, which cost $16 million as a graduation present after her tenure at Stanford University.

Ryan Reynolds And Blake Lively In The Tribeca Building
As mentioned, Jennifer Gates’ new home seems to be a popular spot for celebrities. The previous owner of Gates’ six-bedroom penthouse was the Formula One racer Lewis Hamilton. The racer reportedly bought it in 2017 for a whopping $43 million but never moved in. He later put it up for sale in 2019.
Jennifer Gates has a bunch of celebrity neighbors in the apartment building. Pop star and actor Justin Timberlake and his wife actress Jessica Biel owned a penthouse condo in the apartment and sold it earlier this year for $29 million. Celebrities such as Meg Ryan and Jake Gyllenhall also live in the building. It is also the home of singer Harry Styles, and according to theNew York Post, of RnB singer Abel Tesfaye, popularly known as The Weeknd. Actress Jennifer Lawrence also reportedly owns an apartment in the building and rents it out.

The most popular celebrities who live in the Tribeca building are power couple,Ryan Reynoldsand Blake Lively. The couple owns two homes, an estate in Upstate New York and the other at the 443 Tribeca building. Reynolds and Lively share their family home in Pound Ridge with their four children.
While they spend most of their time at their Pound Ridge Estate, Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively own a luxury home at the Tribeca building on Greenwich Street. While it is not disclosed how much their apartment cost, the home seems to be expensive as their neighbor Jennifer Gates reportedly bought her penthouse for $51 million. The net worth of Blake Lively is $30 million.
