Jujutsu Kaisen is currently at its peak as the series showed some of the most awesome moments of the Shibuya Incident Arc in the recent anime episode. The episode displayed Sukuna’s return to the series and showed the combat between Toji Fushiguro and Dagon. The fighting sequence was perhaps one of the best MAPPA productions, and it was very well received by the fans. The battle between Dagon and Toji Fushiguro was a one-sided annihilation in which Toji easily destroyed Dagon.

This scene caused quite a commotion on the internet since fans adored the combat sequence and its animation by MAPPA, who had faced criticism for animation difficulties in episode 14. However, some Naruto fans believe that this scene is straight-up copied from one of Boruto’s episodes.

Naruto Fans Believe Jujutsu Kaisen Copied Fight Scene from Boruto
After the recent episode of Jujutsu Kaisen which featured the epic demolition of Dagon by Toji, fans caused havoc on the internet praising Toji and MAPPA for creating a brilliant fight scene. However, some fans speculated that the fight scene was copied from Boruto’s episode 204 where Naruto and Sasuke fought Isshiki (Jigen) which premiered on August 23, 2025, and the two of them actually lost to Isshiki. Naruto uses his favorite move, shadow clone Jutsu, and tries to overpower Isshiki with a series of attacks while Isshiki uses one of his black rods to fight him.
Many Naruto fans believe that this scene is the influence behind the Toji vs Dagon fight scene and they have straight-up copied the scene. According to Naruto fans, both scenes show striking resemblance and copy the fight scene from frame to frame. Fans took to X(Twitter) to point out what they believe is a copied fight scene and compared Toji defeating Dagon to Naruto’s fight with Isshiki.
