The upcoming reboot from Activision in theCall of Dutyseries titledModern Warfare 3, is set to feature a whole lot of changes compared to the original. The game will bring a new way to play Open Combat Missions with friends online, where players can choose to either take a stealth approach or load up on the ammunition and go loud.
The game is also set to bring back classic characters from previous games, an extended Zombie mode built around a massive map, with the game also set to feature a whole lot of special guns as well, including the standard Chinese army service rifles.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Game Modes Confirmed By Developers So Far, Bundles to be Carried Forward Too
Modern Warfare 3is set to feature three main modes in the game: Campaign, Multi-Player mode, and Zombie mode. Developers have so far confirmed four multiplayer modes, which include a 32v32 mode named Ground War, a 6v6 mode named War Mode, a 3v3v3 mode named Cutthroat, and finally, a 20v20 Invasion mode. There are said to be quite a lot of other multi-player modes as well, which have not received any confirmation yet. A whole lot of iconic maps will also return to the multi-player mode as most launch maps are said to be remastered versions from the original edition.
Developers have also confirmed that players who have bought skins inModern Warfare 2will have most of the items carried forward toModern Warfare 3as well. Players can check on their items in MW 2 to see if a message pops up stating: “All items in bundle will also be usable in:Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.” If this message pops up in their current items, it would serve as a confirmation that those items will be available to use for players in the upcoming title as well.

Every Gun Expected to be in Modern Warfare 3, Including Chinese Army Standard Rifle
One of the most important aspects of the series has always been the loadout, as players spend most of their time deciding on the weapons to take for a battle.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3is all set to bring a variety of new ways for gamers to play the game. Here’s a list of guns all set to feature inCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, and the real-life guns they are possibly inspired from.
Assault Rifles in the game feature the following:
The AK-556, which is possibly inspired by the AK 101. The ANVL-B, which is modeled after the F2000. The CDG-58, possibly modeled after the Chinese Standard Army Rifle, the QBZ 95. The MCW in the game looks like the real-life ACR. The MTZ-556 is modeled after the CZ Bren 2. The SAR-9 is possibly modeled after the Colt M5. The game will also feature the Coscar 635, Sidewinder, and the ANVL–B Assault Rifles.
Battle Rifles in the game feature these models:
The MTZ-762 looks like it’s modeled after the CZ Bren 2 BR. The BAS-B, which is possibly the real-life MCX Spear, the Bushmaster ACR, and the XM5. As for the Marksman Rifles, the following guns will be available in the game, the CZ Bren DMR, the ACR DMR, the SVK, and the SL8.
The Sniper Rifles in the game include the AMR-50 which is modeled after the AR-50, the KVB-73 which is possibly the real-life Zastava M76, and the KVS Terminus which is inspired by the Chukavin SVCh rifle. There’s also a sniper rifle with the code name JP 10, which looks like the AXMC. The SMGs in the game include the LACH-9 which is modeled after the UMP 5, the Striker 45, which is possibly the UMP45, a Uzi-inspired WSP-9, and a return of the 2019 SMG, the CX-9-inspired RIVAL-9 SMG.
Finally, there will be these three handguns as well – the Raffica which is inspired by the real-life Renetti, the Glock 21, and the Micro Uzi.

Call of Duty Mobile’s New Map, Kurohana Metropolis, Looks Similar to Fortnite
As gamers await the release ofModern Warfare 3on their rigs,Call of Duty: Mobilerecently announced Season 8: Error 404. The season is part of the latest major update in the game and features a new map called Kurohana Metropolis. A few official screengrabs of the new map were also released which has got the internet quite bemused. Several fans were quick to point out that the map looks quite similar to Mega City fromFortnite.
The official description of the map described the map as “a frenetic sci-fi-themed downtown area with lots of tight corners and interior spaces.” The map is said to feature close-quarter combat reigns. Fans immediately called out Activision and described how the neon-soaked, futuristic sci-fi map, Kurohana Metropolis has taken a lot of inspiration fromFortnite‘s Mega City.
It’s not too long untilCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3goes Live on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, and until then, gamers have a new, albeit quite familiar-looking map to explore in the mobile version.Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3releases 10th of November, later this year.
