Former couple Cameron Diaz andJustin Timberlake, who dated for 4 years between 2003 and 2007, faced various challenges that ultimately resulted in their breakup. But one of the defining reasons that the pair called it quits was allegedly due to Timberlake’s music video for his songWhat Goes Around….Comes Aroundwith Marvel star Scarlett Johansson. According to sources,The Maskactor was rumored to be displeased with theBlack Widowstar’s casting in the song.
“Cameron was very jealous of Scarlett. She could not believe he went behind her back to put her in the video.”

However, Johansson put an end to these speculations and rumors by clearing up the air regarding her presence in Timberlake’s music video. The star said,
“We live in a world today where if two people are single – and one’s a guy and one’s a girl and they’re both famous – you’re going to be linked with somebody,”

Cameron Diaz, for her part, has never publicly spoken about the music video or Johansson’s appearance in it. But shortly after, in January 2007, the couple announced their separation after allegedly arguing at singer Prince’s Golden Globe party, in which Timberlake’s future wife Jessica Biel was also present.

While Cameron Diaz may not have spoken openly about her breakup with Justin Timberlake, the star has never shied away from expressing her opinion and displeasure at being targeted unfairly. As a result, theCharlie’s Angelsactor has had to face criticism from the public and the paparazzi for her brutal and straightforward comments.
Cameron Diazwho was on the receiving end of the paparazzi’s eagle eye, was reported to have said that she wished a staffer got cancer forhounding her. TheGambitactor’s comments subsequently went viral, with many users taking to social media to express their thoughts on Diaz and her behavior. One of them said,
“She seems a nasty piece of crap. Terrible thing to say. It is a devastating disease.”
Other netizens also expressed their displeasure at the actor’s serious remark while a few were not surprised since they expected Diaz to be rude and nasty. This comment came back to bite her later on throughRolling Stonefounder Jann Wenner, who targeted the star in his memoir by bringing up her comment from many years ago while also rubbing salt into the wound by printing a picture of Diaz and ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake on a beach in Hawaii.
