Capcom just wrapped up their Spotlight event, and they packed it with some really exciting news. If you’re a fan of Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, or Street Fighter, you’re in for a treat. I will summarize everything announced at Capcom Spotlight June 2025.

1. Resident Evil Requiem Gets Real About Fear
Resident Evil 9: Requiemis coming on February 27th, 2026, and it looks like it’s going to be different from what we’re used to. The big news here is the new main character,Grace Ashcroft, an FBI agent who actually has fear. The developers explained why they didn’t make Leon the main character this time.“Leon wouldn’t jump at something like a bucket falling,”they said. “No one wants to see Leon scared by every little thing.”Makes sense when you think about it.
You’ll be able to play in bothfirst-personandthird-person views, depending on how scary you want the experience to get. The game is set inRaccoon City 30 years in the future, which should give us a totally new look at this location. Sagat,C. Viper, Ingrid,andAlexare finally coming toStreet Fighter 6on August 5th, 2025. Before he arrives, theSagat Arrives! Fighter Passstarts on July 4th, giving you stickers, avatar gear, and new colors for Ryu and Ken. The big highlight is the new Outfit 4 swimsuit collection, also dropping at the same time. Additionally, seven characters are getting summer swimwear: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I.
4. Pragmata Gets Gameplay Details
Pragmata is still coming in 2026, and we got a better look at the gameplay. You’ll play as space explorerHugh Williams, working with an android girl namedDiana. She has hacking abilities that you’ll use to fight robots. The game mixes puzzle-solving with combat, and you’ll need to think fast to survive. you’re able to try it yourself at Gamescom 2025 this August.
5. Kunitsu-Gami Coming to Switch 2
The classicKunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddessis now available on Switch 2 with some extra content. There’s a free update calledYashichi Wavesthat changes all the music to 8-bit style, which is pretty neat if you’re into retro gaming vibes.
6. Onimusha Makes a Comeback
Onimusha 2: Samurai’s Destinyhas been remastered with updated graphics and gameplay that work great on modern consoles. So now is your chance to experience it on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

7. Classic Fighting Games Return
Capcom Fighting Collection 2is now available, and it’s filled with 8 classic action and fighting games. You’ll also get a brand new training mode, a gallery filled with artwork and sounds, and one-button special moves to make the games easier for newcomers. You can grab it right now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
