Quentin Tarantino is one of the most celebrated directors in Hollywood. His style of filmmaking and contextual approach is far too different from any other directors in the industry. The Tarantino-esque movies are often filled with gore and bloodshed but never deviate from the intensity of the story.

With his debut inReservoir Dogsas a director, Tarantino made his name, and with his second film,Pulp Fiction,he got even wider recognition.Pulp Fictioneventually earned the status of a cult classic.

Quentin Tarantino Hates‘Trigger Warning’
Undoubtedly,Quentin Tarantinois a master of gore and bloodshed, in fact, most of his movies are bloody depictions of violence among human beings. But it is a trait of the director that differentiates him from the rest. Of course, there has to be a warning sign for his movies as some viewers may not be able to digest his content, but the director hates words such as‘trigger warning’or‘offended.’
“I reject the word “offended”. Anyone can be offended by anything. Frankly, I think most of the time – and there are no doubt some exceptions – saying that you are “offended” by a film is the first response of a very narrow mind. “I didn’t like it, and here’s why, blablabla…” But, man, being offended? Art is no offense. And, although, in rare cases, I can understand it, it’s just ridiculous to be offended by the content of a film.”

Further, the director shared his own experience justifying his approach to movies.“Here, there’s a movie that came out in the last ten years – I won’t name it – that really offended me.”
“But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that it was my problem. My fucking problem. I found it racist. I wanted to punch the director. I still think it’s a racist movie. But it’s just a fucking movie, man.”

Tarantino has been vocal about his cinematic approach in the past and is often seen defending his vision and style as well.

Quentin Tarantino Revealed Details of His Next FilmThe Movie Critic
As perDeadline, Tarantino’s next projectThe Movie Criticwill be based on a critic from the 1970s who wrote for a porno magazine. The movie is all set to go to pre-production next month. Set in 1977’s California, the movie is“ based on a guy who really lived, but was never really famous, and he used to write movie reviews for a porno rag,”Tarantino told Deadline.
Talking about the character, the director said,“he wrote about mainstream movies and he was the second-string critic.”
“I think he was a very good critic. He was as cynical as hell. His reviews were a cross between early Howard Stern and what Travis Bickle [Robert DeNiro’s Taxi Driver character] might be if he were a film critic.”
“Think about Travis’s diary entries,”the director added, explaining the intensity of the character.
“But the porno rag critic was very, very funny. He was very rude, you know. He cursed. He used racial slurs. But his shit was really funny. He was as rude as hell.”
The cast for the role, the director said, has not been decided yet. But whoever he brings on board, it would be the director’s careful decision as he has a record of bringing the best out of actors for his films.
