Fortnite Cosmic Summer event: Believer Beach disappears, date & time, quests, rewards, more
Before the Epic Games offices close for their annual two-week Summer break, they will be hosting a special celebration event for players to earn in-game rewards and various quests as part of Fortnite Season 7.
Fortnite Season 7is now in full swing as players worldwide are getting a chance to check out some of the new content Epic has implemented with the onset of the alien invasion. A fresh battle pass, and new weapons are the stand-out additions once again, as Epic aims to shift the meta for the Summer.
Now, they have announced a brand new event for players to celebrate the beginning of Summer. During the event, players will be able to earn in-game rewards and complete a new round of quests.

What is the Cosmic Summer Celebration?
Epic has announced a brand new event for players over on the official Fortnite Twitter account on July 14, 2025.
Essentially, it is an event where players will be able to earn some rewards by completing certain quests and challenges that they will release as a part of the Summer Celebration.

The full details of the event are still to be announced by Epic Games, but it also coincides with the annual two-week long Summer break Epic usually takes at the beginning of July.
“Following the FNCS All-Star Showdown, we’ll take a two-week break (June 28 – July 11) on all competitions. We’ll be taking some time to relax and recharge, and you should too,” the company said in their Chapter 2 Season 7 competitive blog.

Believer Beach disappears
On the morning of June 22, just hours before the Cosmic Summer event was due to kick off, the whole of Believer Beach disappeared from the Island. Certain buildings at Holly Hedges were wiped out, too.
The official Fortnite Status Twitter account tweeted that they were “investigating” the disappearance of the recently revamped POI, but it seems very likely that this is all part of the build-up to the Cosmic Summer party.

Cosmic Summer leaks
New event details leaked on the PlayStation store on June 20.
According to the listing, Fortnite fans will see the Cosmic Summer event tie into the live event at Believer Beach, which should begin around the same time.
There’s also a theory floating around that the Believer Beach event could actually lead to the destruction of Coral Castle. While many initially wrote that idea off, a new leak from@TheFoundoFN_7seems to suggest it’s more likely than first thought; the leaked image shows a totally different POI in the same area.

Rewards, quests, and more
There’s an abundance of summer-themed rewards and quests for players to complete over the two-week Cosmic Summer event.
While new quests will reportedly be released each day during the event, leakers have shared details of every single quest ahead of time to help you to get ahead of the game and prepare.

As you’re able to see from the list above, most of these quests will need to be completed in unique Creative maps, and there are some pretty sweet rewards available, ranging from loading screens to back blings and emotes.
