Being a method actor, Lady Gaga decided to go the extra mile and actually submerge herself in a bathtub. For the scene, however, she submerged herself for too long which caused the director to freak out thinking that she accidentally drowned. In an interview withVariety’sActors on Actors,Gaga revealed howRidley Scottrushed in after yelling“cut”to save her.
“When I did the bathtub scene, when I went under, they had to yell “Cut” because they were like, ‘Get her out of there!’ I was fine. I can hold my breath for a long time. I’m a singer. I feel protected by art. I feel art has saved me my whole life.”
Well, Lady Gaga was traumatized by her character and once revealed that she is terrified of the character that she portrays on-screen in the film.

In an interview with Stephen Colbert, the actress talked about how Ridley Scott’s created character wasn’t a fictional person. Revealing details, Lady Gaga revealed that she was incredulous about how the woman who did this was actually alive and has served decades in prison!
“Well, first of all, I would describe her as real. She’s a real woman. So this is not just a character. This is somebody who is still alive today, and she served decades in prison. And she was very in love with Maurizio Gucci. And something that people don’t know is that when they got married, he didn’t have money or a job. His whole family turned his back on him because he married her.”
With Ridley Scott doing an incredible job at filmmaking,House of Guccireceived a rating of 6.6/10 on IMDB and 61% on Rotten Tomatoes. The 2021 film is available to stream on Prime Video in the U.S.
