According to reports, the actor was paid an amount of $10,000 for his portrayal of Han Solo in the 1977 movieStar Wars: A New Hope.

Although, at that time, the amount was quite a significant sum,Harrison Fordraked in the millions when he was forced to come out of retirement for his reprisal of Indian Jones. At that time, the actor had gone into a self-imposed semi-retirement. As per the reports, Paramount Pictures forced the actor to come out of said retirement… and they had to pay dearly for that.
