On August 11, 2025, Warner Brothers released a 16-second playtest teaser which showed us how the game will look along with a glimpse of the field, the Champions Cup, and its characters. Apart from that, it also shows the iconic Nimbus 2000 broomstick.

Just like in the movies and books, players can choose either of the Beaters, Chasers, Keepers, or Seekers roles and battle it out to make their house victorious!

Fast forward to July 30, 2025, we got to see the official reveal trailer of this new game. Although the video did not have any official gameplay footage, a part of it did reveal the Quidditch World Cup.

In the official reveal trailer, it was seen students were playing Quidditch under different weather conditions. It included rain, snow, auroras, and fall.

On July 29, the official gameplay trailer for Quidditch Champions was released which showcased two gameplay modes − Single Player Career and Online Competitive Multiplayer that players will be able to play upon launch.

They’ll also be able to unlock characters from the Harry Potter franchise such as Harry, Malfoy, Ron Weasley, and so on. Furthermore, the game also allows players to create their own characters and customize them with a vast collection of accessories.

Furthermore, the devs have promised that many franchise Easter eggs will also be included in the game, such as a cosmetic that will transform players into theinfamous PS1 Hagrid meme.
