Speaking withNow Magazine, an insider revealedTom Cruise’s secret trick to fight aging. The treatment was popularized byVictoria Beckham, a close friend of the actor. He spends about $180 a pop on this beauty regimen (viaDaily Mail):
“Tom doesn’t go in for Botox or surgery, but he does pay close attention to all the new natural treatments. He recently started experimenting with the nightingale poo facial after it was recommended by a Hollywood pal, and the results have been fantastic.”
Shizuka Bernstein, a master esthetician, says that the Geisha Facial treatment is a technique borrowed from the geishas of Japan, who used nightingale poos as a natural exfoliant. She applies the mixture and uses ultraviolet light to sanitize the skin. The process takes about an hour to finish. Bernstein shared:
“The nightingale poo acts as an exfoliant that brings out the dirt and adds shine.”
The 60-year-old actor does not believe in plastic surgery and prefers a natural alternative. The insider also added:
“Tom doesn’t see splashing out on the facials as him being vain or weird. In fact, he points out there are much wackier fads out there.”

“It is an extraction from a, um, a piece of skin that came from a young person, far, far away, and they somehow figured out how to extract. Well, it’s this way in which one forces, through micro-needling, it’s like a little roller with these… It pushes through the skin and ruptures the collagen and then boosts it. You look like a burn victim for a day, but then it pushes the serum in.”
Bullock clarified that the treatment uses cells from the foreskin of Korean babies which have been cloned in a laboratory, and not as if she is “lying there with little pieces all over my face”. She also added:
“I call it the penis facial, and when you see how good it is to your face, you too will run to your local facialist and say, ‘Give me the penis.’”
Tom Cruise and Sandra Bullock have bizarre ways of taking care of their skin, but as long as it works, then it’s worth all the trouble.
