In the past half-decade, internet personality Logan Paul successfully established himself as a popular YouTuber, actor, and entrepreneur. He has a net worth of $45 million (according toCelebrity Net Worth) and is one of the most famous people on the internet. Recently, Paul revealed that he walked out of director Christopher Nolan’s latest movie,Oppenheimer, which has been hailed as“the best, most important film of this century”by film legend and prominent screenwriter, Paul Schrader.
The reason behind his walk-out was simple: Paul felt like there was “too much talking in the film.” It seems like Paul expected to see some action sequences inOppenheimerwhich is a Drama/Thriller. This tweet invited a lot of criticism from the people on the internet which is not new to the podcaster, especially since he invited the wrath of one of the most venerated public personalities of Hollywood aka Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson after a controversy in 2017.
Why did Logan Paul walk out ofOppenheimer?
Despite so much hype for director Christopher Nolan’sOppenheimer, there is one person who is trying very hard to stand out,Logan Paul. In the latest episode of hisImpaulsivepodcast, Paul revealed:
“I walked out of Oppenheimer. I didn’t know what they were trying [to do]. ‘What are you doing?’ Everyone’s just talking. It’s just an hour and a half, 90 minutes, of talking, just talking, talking.”
In the past, the internet personality has been criticized for his unsolicited movie reviews. Jordan Peele’s 2022 movie,Nope, was praised by fans and critics, however, Logan Paul labeled it as the “worst film of all time.”

Why did Dwayne Johnson Sever His Ties With Logan Paul?
Boxer, podcaster, and entrepreneur, Logan Paul shared a close bond with actor Dwayne Johnson before 2017. However, due to the controversial nature of Paul’s YouTube video that went viral in 2017, Johnson decided to end his friendship with the young influencer. In a past interview, Paul recalled,
“This was one of the saddest moments of my life, what I’m about to say. After Japan happened, I obviously found myself in a hole – rightfully so – that I had never been in before. Extremely low, mentally, and I got a call from my publicist, who also repped Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. She’s like ‘Hey, Dwayne has asked that you remove every video and picture that you’ve done with him. Maybe in the future, the relationship can be reconciled, but for now, he basically wants nothing to do with you.’ Which I also understood. I get it. I made a grotesque error. He has had things happen in his life where that incident has affected him in a vastly different way.”
In December 2017, Pual visited the Aokigahara forest in Japan, which is also known as the “Suicide Forest.” There, the influencer filmed the corpse of a suicide victim after coming across the scene while exploring the surroundings and uploaded the footage to his YouTube channel.
Dwayne Johnson’s mother had attempted to take her life by walking towards oncoming traffic in front of The Rock’s own eyes when he was only 15 years old. So, irrespective of the fact that the video was in and of itself highly unethical and insensitive to the victim and their loved ones, it makes sense why Johnson decided to cut all ties with Paul, even to this day.
