A prominent trait that can be noticed in Christopher Nolan’s movies is how he has a habit of working with actors he has worked with on previous occasions. From Christian Bale to Cillian Murphy, he does not shy away from working with talented actors he has already encountered. No one minds this either because the sheer level of skill present in his films makes the experience of watching them exceptionally brilliant.
One actor who did not make it into his latest flick just so happened to be Robert Pattinson. He has been displaying his talent back to back by doing some of the most incredible movies that have easily become fan favorites. Why Was Robert Pattinson Not Part Of Christopher Nolan’sOppenheimer?
It was not as ifChristopher Nolandid not askRobert Pattinsonto be a part of his upcoming movie.Oppenheimeralready has an audience waiting for its release, yearning to see just how the movie turned out to be. In fact, Nolan wanted the actor to be a big part of the film. However, that was not possible.
“He was busy! He’s very much in demand these days.”
Nolan noted that Pattinson is highly busy these days seeing the success of his movies one after the other. This has led to him being extremely busy as he is, as the director puts it, very much in demand. Everyone wants to work with Pattinson and so does Nolan. So he too had the actor in mind when the idea of making the movie was slowly manifesting. Despite wanting him in the movie so badly, it was not possible. However, it was because of Pattinson that the movie came to be.

Robert Pattinson Gave Christopher Nolan A Book About Oppenheimer
Although Robert Pattinson could not be part of the movie, it was a gift given to him that brought about the idea of makingOppenheimer. He helped Christopher Nolan pick out some quotes during the filming ofTenetand by the end of the movie, the actor gifted him a book of Oppenheimer’s quotes. This book is what ultimately inspired the making of the movie.
When taking into consideration how busy his schedule is, Pattinson ironically snuck out of the set ofTenetjust so he could go audition for Matt Reeves’The Batman.Ever since then, things have been going uphill for him and he has become very much one of the most talented actors.
Oppenheimerwill be available to watch in theatres from 21st July 2023.
