Things tend to get heated in the entertainment industry. After all, shooting can be a stressful environment, andTerminator Salvationdirector, McG probably agrees with this. The director once put renowned actor, Bill Murray, on blast during an interview, accusing him of being physical with him.
However, there are always two sides to the story and Bill Murray was not afraid to speak out his side. Reacting to McG’s story about him, Bill Murray took the argument to a whole new level. Things got so bad that the actor, in the heat of the moment, stated that McG deserved something far worse than getting headbutted – death. Yikes! It looks like McG’s words really stung Bill Murray.

Bill Murray Wishes Death on McG

In an interview with The Guardian, Joseph McGinty Nichol, better known as McG, addressed how making a movie can get stressful at times. He stated that he couldn’t remember a film of his where things didn’t get physical on the sets. He then recalled the time whenBill Murrayheadbutted him and missed his nose by an inch.
“I’m reintroducing the fist-fight to movie sets. I don’t think there’s been a film I’ve made where there hasn’t been some kinds of a physical fight. I mean, I’ve been headbutted by an A-list star. Square in the head. An inch later and my nose would have been obliterated…It was Bill Murray. Y’know it’s a passionate industry.”
Despite whateverMcGsaid, Murray refused to accept the blame and stated that he had done nothing of the sort. He got so angry at the filmmaker that in an interview with The Times, he ended up wishing death upon McG.
“That’s bulls*it! That’s complete crap! I don’t know why he made that story up. He has a very active imagination…No! He deserves to die. He should be pierced with a lance, not headbutted!”
This was not the only controversy in McG’s career. While the filmmaker somehow gotChristian Balehimself to star inTerminator Salvation,the actor went ahead to say that he wouldn’t be working with McG ever again.

Christian Bale Won’t Work with McG Again
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Bale opened up about how McG requested him to be a part of theTerminatorsequel. Bale stated,
“He goes, ‘Give me a change. Everyone needs to evolve and I need to turn over a new leaf. And please, you must’ve been in this position before yourself when someone has taken a leap of faith on you,’ – which I have – ‘please do that for me now; I promise you, I’m ready for it.”
However, despite McG’s promising words,Terminator Salvationwas a bust. Bale went on to say that while he wishes McG nothing but the best, he“won’t be working with him again.”With a 33% Rotten Tomatoes score, the film was only able to make $371 million at the box office on a budget of $200 million. Even the audience believes it to be the weakest link of a successful franchise.
