MrBeast was born in Wichita, Kansas, and later raised in Greenville, North Carolina. According to online sources, the content creator’s parents divorced in 2007. The26-year-oldgraduated from Greenville Christian Academy in 2016 and attended East Carolina University. He dropped out to pursue an online career on YouTube.
Another aspect of MrBeast’s personal life that he has spoken about is that he suffers from Crohn’s disease. Controversies Surrounding MrBeast
2024 has been the year when MrBeast found himself embroiled in a series of controversies. The catalyst for the situation was the scandal involving his former crew member, Ava Kris Tyson, who was accused of grooming and having inappropriate interactions with a minor.
On June 22, 2025, DogPack404, a former MrBeast employee, posted a 53-minute video accusing Jimmy of faking his content, manipulating children, operating illegal lotteries, and selling fake signatures to his audience. This “exposé” went viral on the internet, prompting more people to make allegations against MrBeast.
Another former employee, Jake Weddle, eventually collaborated with DogPack404 on a 50-minute video titledI Worked For MrBeast, He’s A Sociopath. Weddle leveled some serious accusations against Jimmy, accusing him of hiring a registered sex offender and allegedly providing unsafe working conditions while filming a video. According to Jake Weddle, MrBeast’s team allegedly kept him sleep-deprived while filming the video, which never saw the light of day.
Aside from that, MrBeast’s upcoming Amazon Prime game show,Beast Games, has come under scrutiny, with claims of unsafe working conditions and harassment leveled against them. Court documents surfaced on the internet in September 2024, indicating that fiveBeast Gamescontestants, who have yet to be identified as plaintiffs, had filed a lawsuit againstBeast Games, MrBeast, and Amazon.
