What Is Arkveld Calloushell in Monster Hunter Wilds?
Arkveld Calloushell is essentially a part of Arkveld’schain-like appendages. You obtain these upon breaking its chains, either usingFocus Strikeor regular attacks on wounds. Although you may also obtain Arkveld Calloushell by carving or even capturing Arkveld, the drop rates are incredibly low.
The only guaranteed way to get the Arkveld Calloushell is to break the chain-like appendages on its forelimbs. The material can be obtained from both regular andTemperedArkveld. However, getting it from the regular one is much easier compared to the Tempered variant, simply due to its higher overall defense and resistance to partbreak.
Ideally, you can get two Arkveld Calloushells guaranteed per encounter, given you’re able to break the monster’s chains. However, the material can also drop as a “quest completion reward” upon successfully slaying or capturing the Arkveld.
