What Are the Limitations of Monster Hunter Wilds Free Trial on PS5?

Given it’s a demo, it only grants you access to2 hoursof the game. This means you will only experience the openingLow-Rankquests, and that’s it. Additionally, you won’t have access to DLC cosmetics since most unlock after reachingHigh Rank. The first two hours of the game are filled with cutscenes and a handful of quests. Essentially, you will get access to theChatacabraand theQuematricehunts.

However, if you skip through the cutscenes (which we don’t recommend doing), you can reach theDoshagumahunt. Apart from that, you will have access toOptional Low-Rank Hunts.

Additional Notes

It should be noted that progress from the demo can be carried over to the full game. As such, the demo is a great way for new players to give Monster Hunter a shot. And if you end up liking it, you’re able to purchase the full game and continue past your progress in the demo. And with theTitle Update 2(TU2) live right now, it’s the best time to jump into the game if you’re still on the fence.
