The movie saw Brad Pitt in the role of Jack Trainer. The two admitted that Brad Pitt was their first choice for the cameo. However, with how swarmed up the actor usually is, they never expected him to partake in the film. Therefore, the Nee brothers also considered Keanu Reeves forThe Lost City. Alas, the latter, too, was preoccupied with having to film forJohn Wick.
