When it comes toCyberpunk 2077, many people don’t think about the music that accompanies them throughout their adventures. Still, with the release ofPhantom Libertyon September 26th, players will be given some more radio stations to tune into. This includes music from Idris Elba as he has DJ’d numerous unreleased songs that have now become a part of the game’s official soundtrack.

What Radio Stations Are Coming To Cyberpunk 2077, And What Music Is Accompanying them?

WithinCyberpunk 2077, there are already a few different radio stations that players can tune into to get some music playing as they travel around Night City. Still, with the new expansion,Phantom Libertyplayers will be gaining access to three new radio stations that they can tune into that will hold brand-new songs, some of which have been created by Idris Elba himself as a Rapper and DJ.

Idris Elba Is The Best DJ In Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty

OncePhantom Libertyreleases, players will gain access to three different radio stations, which will be known as Darkstar Radio, Impulse, and Growl FM. When describing these different radio stations, CD Projekt Red has described Darkstar Radio as fitting with the dark dystopian aspect ofCyberpunk 2077, and it currently has two songs which were rapped and produced by Idris Elba himself.

One of the other radio stations  is Impulse, which has been described as Idris Elba’s DJ set, as it will be a culmination of his unreleased songs, which will provide the modern electric music mix that will accompany the player throughout Night City as they cruise through the streets. The final radio station hasn’t had much information released about it, but it will most likely have some interesting songs that add to the feel of the world ofCyberpunk 2077.

Since the beginning of the planning stages forPhantom Libertyand the character Solomon Reed, CD Projekt Red has had its eyes set on Idris Elba as one of its main choices for the role of Solomon Reed. Luckily, Idris Elba felt the same way as he has taken on the part and has done a superb job of it so far, and due to this casting choice,Cyberpunk 2077has also earned itself a DJ to add to its unique official music.

Even though we have only seen a cinematic trailer with Idris Elba in his role as Solomon Reed, many fans are eager to see this new character in the game as they interact with Solomon Reed to complete the new story that will unfold withPhantom Liberty, whilst listening to the brand-new music that has been acquired for this new DLC.

Many players will be returning toCyberpunk 2077with the release ofPhantom Liberty, and many will be overjoyed to see Idris Elba take on the part of Solomon Reed as he brings a unique atmosphere to the dark and gritty game that isCyberpunk 2077, but this just adds more layers to the story and the world that players will have to explore in this upcoming expansion.
