One Piecehas entered its final saga. The first arc of the last saga is the Egghead Island arc. Within just a few chapters, the fans have witnessed several great fights, including Kidd Pirates vs. Red-Hair Pirates, Monkey D. Garp vs. The Blackbeard Pirates, and currently, the Strawhats are fighting one of the Gorosei on Egghead Island.

Eiichiro Oda, the creator ofOne Piece, said that after the Wano arc, he will draw the biggest war inOne Piecehistory. With whatever development has taken place till now, the fans have given their theories regarding the future of the anime. One of the most exciting fan theories is that Monkey D. Luffy finding theOne Piecewill cause Ragnarök.
Fan Theory SuggestsOne PieceFollows Norse Mythology
There are severalOne Piecefan theories circling the internet. While some are interesting, others are just there for the sake of it. One of the recent ones links the anime to Norse Mythology. It may sound bizarre at first, but most of the fans will believe it after knowing it. The theory goes back to the Little Garden arc, where the Strawhats met two giants named Dorry and Brogy, who were at war with each other for over 100 years.

After their fight stopped, they helped the Strawhats reach their next destination. After having left the island, a giant goldfish attacked them. Dorry and Brogy launched a combined attack to fend off the goldfish. Before launching their attack, they said, “The only thing we can’t pierce is a snake soaked in blood. Behold the legendary spear of the giants of Elbaf!”If people focus on the snake part, it raises a lot of questions. What snake, and how is it soaked in blood?
The only explanation that comes to mind is that the Red Line is a long stretch of land going in a circular pattern which divides the world in two. A sneak peek into Norse Mythology will tell them that a giant serpent in Norse Mythology goes in a circular motion and devours its tail, making it look like a circle. That snake is known as ‘Jörmungandr’ or the World Serpent.

Finding theOne Piecemight cause the World Serpent to release its tail and cause Ragnarök. In the Norse Mythology, releasing ‘Jörmungandr’ causes the Ragnarök and ends the world. So, Imu and the Gorosei might be trying to protect the world from destruction. Even though it looks like aGod of Warplot, it is very much viable. Moreover, Eiichiro Oda is a genius, and no one knows his thoughts. Dorry and Brogy give off the Vikings vibe, so it might be possible that the Norse Mythology inspired Eiichiro Oda.

More onOne PieceBizarre Fan Theories
Eiichiro Oda mentioned that the end ofOne Pieceis near, and he will draw the biggest war. So, it might actually be true that finding theOne Piecewill cause Ragnarök to lead to the end of the world. During Ragnarök, all the Gods fight the World Serpent. InOne Piece, the Gods might be called the Gorosei and Imu. This points to Luffy being the villain. When he revealed his dream to his people, they were surprised.
There is no doubt that this is a bizarre fan theory, but carefully reading it sends shivers down the spine. What if it is true? For the moment, it is just speculation, and nothing has been confirmed. To know whether it is true or not, the fans have to wait till Luffy finds theOne Pieceor if the executives decide to drop some hints.
