JK Rowling’sHarry Potternovels which were converted into a film series by Warner Bros has been one of the biggest franchises of all time. Garnering praises and accolades, the film series turned into a $9.5B franchise featuring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, Tom Felton and more. Initially released as children’s movies, the films soon turned dark by the end of the series.

However, theHarry Potterfranchise carefully maintained its proper PG rating throughout, be it for its dark and violent scenes, or the slightest n*dity. But apparently, when speaking about naked scenes inHarry Potter, did you know Tom Felton almost had a bare scene inHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?

Tom Felton Had a Naked Scene InGoblet of Fire

Although most people believe that JK Rowling’sHarry Potterbooks and films are for children, it’s apparently not. Both the books and the movies eventually featured a lot of scenes that were deemed unsuitable for young children. And certainly, the movies had different ratings for each part, in the US and UK respectively.

As theHarry Potterfilms progressed gradually, the scenes turned more dark and depressing for children to watch. And eventually,Deathly Hallows Part 1even featured an intimate scene between Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson as a vision for Rupert Grint. But surprisingly, the movies almost featured a naked scene, way ahead ofDeathly Hallows Part 1,starring Tom Felton.

Apparently, during an interview shared byGSA,Tom Feltonrevealed how he almost had a naked scene inHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.Disclosing the part where Mad-Eye Moody turned Draco into a Ferret, Felton mentioned he was supposed to turn back into a human, but only naked.

Producers Removed Tom Felton’s Naked Scene

Discussing the R-rated moment during the interview shared byGSA, Tom Felton mentioned how it was originally supposed to be. But unfortunately, due to the producer’s interference, the scene was edited from the movie, in an attempt to keep the film PG-rated. However, Felton admitted feeling regretful about his scene being removed.

“And the original thing was that there was a naked scene for Draco.”

Despite the producers removing the scene from the movie, irrespective of what the original script said, Tom Felton was quite positive about the idea, when he learned about his n*de scene. Apparently, the actor called it, “one of my career highlights”. However,Harry Potterproducers found it too much for young audiences.

“Producers said: We’re going to cut that because it could be a little racy for the younger audience.”

Thus, eventually, the idea of Tom Felton’s naked scene was removed fromHarry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, and Draco turned back to human, fully clothed. This evidently allowed the movie to remain PG-13 rated in the US and PG-12 rated in the UK. In the end, with or without the naked scene, Tom Felton did an amazing job in the film series and indeed turned into a fan-favorite character.
