Who is Jewelry Bonney?
Jewelry Bonney is the captain of the Bonney Pirates, a pirate crew from the South Blue, and is one of twelve pirates known as the Worst Generation. Bartholomew Kuma’s daughter, Bonney has amassed a 320,000,000 berry bounty, and her devil fruit abilities have undoubtedly contributed to this. Bonney ingested an undisclosed Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, which grants her the ability to influence the aging process of everything, including herself. She may use this skill to disguise herself as well as to cripple opponents by accelerating their aging or regressing them to the age of little children. The years Bonney snatches from individuals are represented in the form of brilliant jewelry and shapes, which is a unique impact of this power.

The Egghead Island arc has provided readers with numerous additional opportunities to witness Bonney’s unnamed Devil Fruit abilities in action. Bonney uses her abilities like never before in Chapter 1094 ofOne Piece. She decomposes a soldier into a skeleton before returning him to his former age while firing a rifle filled with her powers, incapacitating the man by destroying him mentally with an attack called “Near Death Experience.” It’s unknown whether Bonney can choose to leave her foes in a decomposed state, or if she merely gives her target the experience of aging to the point of death, killing them with the physical and mental toll.
These abilities make her one of the strongest characters inOne Pieceand her devil fruit one of the most dangerous. Fans are excited to see Bonney fight against one of the five elders, St. Saturn and many also believe that she might be the key to defeat him.
