In recent times, everyone knows the revolution that the Marvel Cinematic Universe was able to bring with its films, turning the entire meaning of cinema into its own definition. But this achievement of such an ambitious dream was only possible through Kevin Feige’s intellect and vision. His involvement in the franchise has created the behemoth known as Marvel Studios today.
But before he became the President of arguably the most successful cinematic universe in history, he was just a normal man looking for that big break in his life. Before all of this was even in his wildest imagination, he was working as a personal assistant for Lauren Shuler Donner, and his responsibilities were doing everything from washing cars to making supper for her.

It all started after he was accepted into theUniversity of California Schoolof Cinematic Arts, where he got to work for the legendary Schuler Donner Productions.
Shuler Donner Productions, the company behind the previousX-Menfranchise was the company that Feige worked under (viaCheatSheet). Here, he was interning for the company and looked over the workings of the business. Founded by Richard Donner along with his wife Lauren Shuler Donner, the couple lend their aid to some of the most iconic films in cinema history likeThe Goonies.
After the producer had graduated from his academic institution, Shuler Donner hired him to become her personal assistant. His duties varied from washing cars to caring for pets as well as making her lunch and everything in between. But along with it all, he also had the job of overseeing scripts that came in for her review.
This was the chance that Feige took without hesitation as soon after, his vision proved to be invaluable for the production company. As he was well-versed in the lore of Marvel Comics, he was asked by his employer to get involved in the process of creating 2000’sX-Menas an associate producer, and the rest is history.
How Kevin Feige Became The President Of Marvel Studios
The big break that Feige was looking for came as the acknowledgment of the Donners for his ambition and vision for superhero cinema. After being on X-Men, he came to the notice of Avi Arad, who later became the chairman of Marvel Studios and employed Feige as his second-in-command.
While he knew popular characters like the X-Men and Spider-Man were not possessed by Marvel Studios, they still had all the core members of The Avengers. Thus, in order to create the most epic team-up of superheroes in history, he was given the creative reign as the President, and now, the entire cinematic universe is valued at an unbelievable $29.5 Billion valuation.
