Leonardo DiCaprioandMartin Scorsesecan’t seem to slow down. Their soon-to-be-released movie,Killers of the Flower Moonis expected to release by October 20, this year. And just by watching the trailer, it doesn’t take much to figure out that it is yet again another blockbuster and potential Oscar winner.
WhileKillers of the Flower Moonhasn’t been released yet, it has been revealed that Scorsese and DiCaprio would be reuniting for another book-based project reportedly calledThe Wager. A shipwreck thriller. As confirmed by David Grann, the movie would be based on his bookThe Wager: A Tale Of Shipwreck, Mutiny, And Murder.Grann is the same writer whose book serves as the basis ofKillers of the Flower Moon. The movie adaptation rights have already been purchased by Apple, and it would be based in the 1700s focusing on the British naval ship and crew.
A movie said to be the full package when it comes to suspense and thriller, fans cannot wait to witness the epic journey of the shipwrecked crew.
