Mark Wahlberg is showing everyone how to keep the action star body he is famous for, even at the age of 52. TheTransformer: Age of Extinctionstar had previously expressed his fear of age catching up to him, and how he’s doing everything possible to have a healthy and fit workout life now.
But these concerns haven’t stopped him from acting or furthering his career. Wahlberg’s latest film is with a notorious Marvel star, but he’s frustrated with the film because the long shooting time has affected the way he planned out his personal diet and workout routine.
Mark Wahlberg Revealed The One Thing He Abstained From For A Film
In an interview with GQ,Mark Wahlbergrevealed the frustrations he has with the current film he is working on. He stated that he is irritated by how long it is stretching and that in turn is making him unable to go back to his normal life and enjoy the thing he loves- tequila.
Mark Wahlberg said:
“Up until 67 days ago, I was drinking quite a bit of it (tequila) every day. So I took a little break. I gave it up for Lent, and then I’m just kind of on this health kick as I’m training to go back and finish this film that I did over a year ago.”

TheUnchartedstar also said that even though he doesn’t like the long filming time, he’s used to such extensions in the movie-making business. He further said:
“Having trained for four months for the movie and then having made the movie for seven months and then having to go back to it is very frustrating, but it’s just part of the gig. I’ve done it quite a number of times before. I think, come either on my birthday or the Fourth of July I should be able to partake again.”
However, he has nothing but great things to say about his co-star Halle Berry, with whom he is shooting his new film, even though the movie is driving him to the edge.

Mark Wahlberg Complimented Halle Berry For Being An Amazing Co-Star
During the interview, Mark Wahlberg gushed about the co-star of his new film,Our Guy from Jersey,Halle Berry. He called the Marvel star an actress who’s in a league of her own. TheMile 22star said:
“It’s (the film) called Our Guy from Jersey, with Halle Berry. She’s amazing—you oughta see her—her program’s impressive. I don’t even attempt to compete, Halle’s in a league of her own.”

The IMDb summary of the film reads:

Wahlberg plays Mike whileCatwomanstar Halle Berry is playing Roxanne. The film will be released on Netflix, but no release date has been given yet.
