Despite being at the peak of his acting career, Walhberg had a realistic view of his future in Hollywood. In an interview withCigar Aficionado, theShooterstar spoke about accepting the burnout aspect that comes with a high-profile profession like his.

“Well, I’m certainly working harder now than ever. Certain businesses, you kind of build them, pass them on or you exit. Hopefully my kids, we’ll see what their interests are, but I don’t think that I’ll be acting that much longer at the pace I am now That’s for sure. Because that’s the most difficult thing.”
Having donned the producer’s hat inFather Stu, Wahlberg spoke about his desire to one day hop onto the director’s chair for a script that impressed him sufficiently.
