In the streaming age, content is key; you have to have something somebody wants or something no one else has. And it seems thatDisneyis pulling out all the stops for its new streaming service, titledDisney Play.

According toVariety, Disney is looking to develop a number of limited series set in theMarvel Cinematic Universe. These series, set at around six to eight episodes each, would focus on supporting characters within the universe such as Loki and Scarlet Witch.
Unlike other small screen efforts, these shows are expected to go all out as Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen are expected to reprise their roles. The budgets are expected to be hefty, rivaling those of a major studio’s productions.MarvelStudios will produce the shows andKevin Feigeis expected to take a hands-on role in their development.

Marvel Studios and Disney have declined to comment at this time.
