Chadwick Boseman magnificently and masterfully portrayed real life hero Jackie Robinson in this film chronicling his way to becoming the first black baseball player for the Brooklyn Dodgers. Boseman was strong, inspirational, and deeply emotional in his depiction of Robinson, showing us a wide range of feelings that never once seemed overly dramatic. He can go from anger to a quick chuckle to somberness like it’s nothing.
Here to once again bless our eyes, and this time our ears, Boseman plays another real life legend, James Brown. He danced and sang his way to our hearts, flawlessly depicting Brown as an erratic genius and unpredictable force of nature, who changed music forever.
Black Panther
When the whole world had their eye on Marvel once word had begin to spread that Black Panther would be brought to the big screen, Chadwick Boseman took the call. He brought children and young people everywhere their first relatable hero, one that looked more like them than almost every other hero on the silver screen to that point. He gracefully played the roles of King T’Challa and Black Panther throughout this film and others, commanding each scene he took part in.

Chadwick Boseman lived what most would call a full life, leaving behind a mournful family, friends, and a rich legacy. He was a friend to many, and an inspiration for many more. We all express our love and best wishes to his grieving family, may our king rest in peace.
