Netflix stated that the third season will also be the last season of Cavill as Geralt of Rivia since Liam Hemsworth will take over as the new Geralt of Rivia from the 4th season of Netflix’sThe Witcher.

With Cavill’s exit, his co-star Anya Chalotra, who portrays the character of Yennefer of Vengenberg is also disheartened. In her statements, Chalotra referred to Geralt as her family and stated that it is indeed hard to move on after working together for 5 years.

“That news was hard to take because he’s family. We’ve been together for five years. So for anyone to leave after working with someone for that long, we’re going to feel that loss. When we are all on set, we’re dedicated to playing these characters and bringing them to life in the best way. And that is exactly what I felt every day from Henry.”

With Henry Cavill still in the mix,The Witcher Season 3 Volume 1is currently available to stream on Netflix around the world.The Witcher Season 3 Volume 2is set for a release date of 27th July on Netflix.
