Scarlett Johansson has been in Hollywood ever since the 90s, and has found her footing as one of the most famous actresses. Over the years she has starred in a series of different genres which goes to prove that she has some serious talent.
One of her most recognizable roles has been that of Natasha Romanoff, akaBlack Widowin the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The actress finally got the soloBlack Widowfilm in 2021, after Natasha had been in the MCU for a decade. The super secret spy is first seen in Iron Man 2, (2010). After her first appearance, Natasha Romanoff quickly became a fan favorite. With her impeccable skill, razor-sharp tongue, and mysterious persona; fans couldn’t get enough of theBlack Widow.

Scarlett Johansson’s Husband Refused to Help Her
Scarlett Johanssonand Colin Jost met during the shoot of anSNLepisode back in 2006. It was Johansson’s first time hosting, and at the time Colin Jost was a writer on the NBC variety show. Jost is now an actor and writer, and has earned 11 Primetime Emmy nominations for his work. The two started dating around 2017 and tied the knot in 2020. The couple is generally quite private about their lives, only making public appearances when absolutely necessary.
With that being true, theBlack Widowactress gave fans a little sneak peek into what her marriage is like. She recently made an appearance On SiriusXM’s The Jess Cagle Podcast and talked about the unique struggles she faced with her husband. She was filming forBlack Widowand asked Jost to help her rehearse some lines. Her husband refused point blank, horrified of finding any movie spoilers as they rehearsed.
“He doesn’t like any spoilers, though, so I can’t tell him anything. And he doesn’t even pry. When we were shooting this film in London, Colin was also there shooting Tom & Jerry — which worked out great ’cause we were together in the same city for a long time, which is rare.”
Marvel productions are known to be extremely secretive when it comes to upcoming projects. It is almost impossible for any sort of leak to happen (unless Tom Holland is involved). Jost had the opportunity to learnBlack Widowspoilers that very few people had access to. But the writer-actor went out of his way to avoid that, even if that meant not helping his wife.

Black Widow:Hit or Flop?
For almost a century, Hollywood immediately knew if a movie was a hit or a flop. Then came the pandemic COVID-19, and brought with it the measurement nightmare known as hybrid release. The new ecosystem is complicated and far more nuanced.
Black Widowhas been a commercial success, just not at par with the standard Marvel blockbuster of the last five years. But since the streaming service is Disney’s top priority above all else, that makesBlack Widowa win overall.
