His links with the British royal family seem to be quite old as he was heartbroken when he heard about the demise of the latter’s first wife, Princess Diana.

The 60-year-old actor,Tom Cruisemet the late Princess Diana when he was married to Nicole Kidman. The duo was one of the iconic couples of the 1990s however their relationship eventually ended in 2001 with the duo reportedly awkward around each other even now.

Though the former pair’s relationship crumbled after a few years, Cruise’s relationship with the British royal family kept on growing stronger. He was a close pal with the late Princess of Wales and got“devastated”when he heard of her demise.
Commenting on her personality, he stated,

“She was a magical person and really engulfed you with her personality.”
He continued to be linked with the royal family by being close with other royal family members including the late Princess’s oldest son, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton. He is also confirmed to be appearing in the monarch’s coronation.

King Charles III, who became the new monarch of The United Kingdom after the death of Queen Elizabeth II is going to be officially crowned in the coronation ceremony.
This event is Britain’s biggest ceremonial event for seven decades, a sumptuous display of pageantry dating back 1,000 years. He is going to be crowned alongside his second wife, Camilla, the Queen Consort, at Westminster Abbey in London.
As per the report, the current monarch went for a smaller yet more diverse ceremony than his mother’s coronation ceremony which was held in 1953.
While many prominent personalities from different fields are going to be a part of the Coronation Concert on 7 May, it is confirmed that theTop Gun: Maverickstar is going to be one of them. The anticipated concert is going to be held on the grounds of Windsor Castle in front of 20,000 people as well as broadcast across BBC television and radio.
