With further hopes, the tweet stated that they wished thatJames Gunnwould hire Glen Powell as the next Hal Jordan for the upcoming true detective-style series in the DCU i.e.,Lanterns.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, theSet It Upactor talked about the fan casting that people bestowed upon him. Calling it a sweet gesture, Glen Powell did let it slip that Marvel has yet to call him for any potential role in the future.
“It takes a long time to navigate this town, so for anyone to be like, ‘Oh, he’d be great in this role,’ it’s humbling, it’s great,”
The actor named notable Marvel character Cyclops and DC character Hal Jordan when talking about his fan-cast roles. Though unconfirmed, this would indeed be the right step for James Gunn and DC Studios if they want to impress their viewers and fans by listening to what they have to say.
