Without a doubt, Disney has launched the careers of many celebrities. Actor Ryan Gosling was also one of them as he starred in Disney’sThe All-New Mickey Mouse Clubin the 1990s alongside Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears.

TheBarbiestar wasn’t a child prodigy, in fact, he felt undermined when he first appeared on the show. In one of his recent interviews, the actor explained that he didn’t feel confident and questioned why he was on the show. Today, he has managed to prove himself as one of the best actors of all time thanks to his ability to portray all sorts of complex characters.

ActorRyan Goslingrecently appeared for an interview with GQ and talked about several things including his time onThe All-New Mickey Mouse Clubin the 1990s. The actor explained that he wasn’t really confident and questioned why he was on the show,
“Everybody was at, like, prodigy level. I certainly wasn’t a child prodigy. I didn’t know why I was there. And I think that was the consensus. It’s why I didn’t work—it was like, they dressed me up as a hamster or put me in the background of someone’s song. But it was all a great experience in a way because it helped me figure out what I wasn’t going to be good at. Which is important to learn too.”

Gosling worked with some other child stars who went on to become famous just like him, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. The actor wasn’t lying when he said other kids were on the “prodigy level” as his appearance on-screen was infrequent because other children were considered more talented.

The actor worked hard in the 1990s looking for his big break. Finally, his role as Danny Balint in Henry Bean’sThe Believer(2001) caught the attention of the viewers.
The actor then starred inThe Notebook(2004), which was a turning point in his career. His filmography also includes hits likeLars and the Real Girl(2007),Blue Valentine(2010),Drive(2011),The Place Beyond the Pines(2012), andLa La Land(2016). The actor’s performance as Ken in Greta Gerwig’s upcoming movie,Barbie, has created a lot of buzz on social media. The movie is all set to hit the theatres on 21st July 2023.
