The 28-year-old son ofTom CruiseandNicole Kidmanusually prefers to live a low-key life. But he recently made a rare public appearance with his famous father over the weekend. The father-and-son team was spotted in New York City as they walked into an AMC theater for an early screening ofMission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One.
Cruise wore dark-washed jeans, a black button-down shirt, and his trademark Ray-Ban sunglasses, keeping the outfits simple. While his son opted to wear white tennis shoes, light gray polo shirts, and dark gray pants.

In addition to showing his support for his father’s latest blockbuster film by joining him on the promotional tour, Connor Cruise was also giving us a small glimpse into the close relationship that the father and son have.
Also, it is unclear how close Kidman is to her son, but it is assumed that she keeps in touch with Isabella Cruise, who goes by Kidman as her middle name. However, it is pretty obvious that theMission: Impossiblestar and his son are quite close.

Dad Tom Cruise Supported His Son’s DJ Career
Tom Cruise attended Connor Cruise’s performance in London to show his support while his son was still pursuing a career as a DJ. A witness stated to People in 2012 that theEdge of Tomorrowactor came there to support his son:
“Tom walked in and went straight over to Connor and hugged him.”
The following year, his 28-year-old returned the favor by helping his father out at work.In 2012, he paid a visit to theOblivionset, which was a crucial time to offer support as Cruise had just finalized his divorce from Katie Holmes.
Meanwhile, Connor Cruise returned to see his father four years later, when the 61-year-old actor was working onJack Reacher: Never Go Back.According to People, the two gave each other a“loving hug”before parting ways.
The father-son have become closer as a result of their shared Scientology affiliation. At the time, a source informed Radar Online:
