Why did Sylphy’s hair turn white in Mushoku Tensei?

It is essential to note this crucial plot point before elaborating on why Sylphy’s hair turned from green to white. No character in theMushoku Tenseiuniverse possesses the ability to alter their physical appearance with magic. However, the actual reason behind the change in her color was that she pushed her Mana beyond its limits.

As to why Sylphy broke through her Mana limit, it was because she was desperate to save herself. Upon getting caught up in an impending disaster with a notable absence of any means to save herself, she used her voiceless incantations. (She can cast spells without voice, just like Rudeus.)

What made Sylphy push her mana to its limits in Mushoku Tensei?

Sylphy struggles like a flightless bird, falling from the sky, trying everything she can to save herself. In the process, she accidentally harnessed every bit of her Mana, creating a mind-boggling presentation of power. The air around her is compressed, and the volume is instantly released. This results in Sylphy propelling herself upwards seconds before becoming a splattered bug on the unforgiving ground.

However, this sudden surge of air had another effect that was entirely uncalled for. It intercepted a rabid boar heading towards Princess Ariel of the Asura Kingdom. However, the overwhelming power crushed the beast’s skull, saving Ariel from the impending danger.

First Hero to cross the power level of one million. The first one to do it was Frieza, but Frieza is a villain. Piccolo was the first heroic character to do it.

Additionally, gravity played a massive factor in cladding up the power of Sylphy’s impromptu airstrike. To express her gratitude towards Sylphy’s “intended heroic” act, Princess Ariel allowed her the position of Derek, who met his demise at the hooves of a monstrous boar moments before Sylphy’s timely arrival.
