This Advice Intensified Robert Pattinson’s Fear of Being the Worst Batman
Remarkably, throughout cinema history, Batman has consistently proven to be a challenging character for actors to portray effectively on screen. The debate surrounding the not-so-great portrayals of Batman still persists, even today.Robert Pattinson, aware of this legacy, was determined not to join the ranks of those who couldn’t do justice to the iconic role. Thus, inJimmy Kimmel Live, the actor stated an advice that made things worse for him,
“That’s what everyone keeps telling me, ‘If all fails, you’ll still be part of something really special’–Well I don’t want to be like the worst one”

Which prompted Jimmy Kimmel to say,“What maniac said that to you?”
It was undoubtedly the worst thing to say, especially to a nervous Batman gearing up for his official debut. Fortunately, contrary to expectations, Pattinson rose to the occasion, delivering a phenomenal portrayal that elevated him among the best portrayals of the character there ever is. Thus, he conquered his fear and further etched his name alongside the finest portrayals of Batman in the history of cinema.

Robert Pattinson Was Extremely Nervous Before the Release
Robert Pattinson was acutely aware of the immense pressure on his shoulders. During the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview, the actor further openly discussed his overwhelming fear when it came to watching his ownThe Batman.
“I was absolutely terrified. I haven’t been this scared to release a movie in such a long time. I haven’t even released a movie in a really long time! I mean, I’d seen the first 90 minutes by myself in an IMAX before and I knew that the first 90 minutes was great. But I’ve kind of gotten into this habit where I kind of realized I need to be in the perfect balance of serotonin to watch my own stuff and, like, so I need to kind of…I need to work out for two hours beforehand, I need to have an enormous amount of sugar and caffeine and so, like, whatever I’m watching, I’m like, ‘yes!'”

Thus despite his irrational fear of the movie not working well, and ultimately failing all who counted on him, it was a blockbuster.
The Batmanis currently available on Max to stream.
