Emily Rudd Answers Who Is The Strongest Strawhat OfOne Piece Live-Action
Emily Rudd plays the role of Cat burglar Nami. Nami is one of the Strawhat pirates’ early members and is their ship’s treasurer and navigator. During her interview with GamesRadar+, she was asked who the strongest Strawhat is. Being a Nami in real life, she said she has two answers. The first one is from the anime, and the next is from the live adaptation.

Emily Rudd said,“OK, can I have two answers for this? (Of course, you’re able to have two answers.)Thank you! OK, if I’m talking current, only one of the Straw Hats is one of the Four Emperors, so. [long pause] And I’m not gonna say who, just in case. But if I have to talk about our crew, I’m going to say Nami, because she’s the boss, like we said. Who controls the money? Who navigates the ship? You can’t get anywhere without her and you can’t buy anything without her, like, you’re stuck, I’m sorry.”
According to Emily Rudd, Nami is the strongest Strawhat of the live adaptation because she controls the ship’s money and navigator. The crew cannot go anywhere or buy anything without Nami’s influence.
Fans Might Be Upset With Emily Rudd’s Answer
It was very bold of Emily Rudd to answer the question on the strongest Strawhat. To her answer, the host exclaimed about how nothing can be done without Nami. To this, she responded,“You cannot get anything done without that woman, I’m sorry.”This is her own opinion, but fans think otherwise. They might be upset with such an answer.

Nami is definitely an important character, but she is not the strongest. Fans believe Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro are the strongest. They have helped the crew in several ways. Luffy is the one who defeats Arlong so that Nami can follow her dreams. Another reason why the fans are upset is that Nami believes money is the most significant power. Emily Rudd followed that passion and answered.
They wanted her to answer from the physical strength point of view. But at the end of the day, it is reassuring to think that fans are upset with Emily Rudd just because she answered like Nami. It shows how well she has studied the character. The fans getting upset is like a trophy for her performance.
