Needless to say, fans are hungry for more films from the franchise. But among other issues, Johnny Depp, who plays Jack Sparrow in the films, is bogged down in his lawsuit with Amber Heard.
Recently, Jerry Bruckheimer gave an interview to the Sunday Times. When questioned about the Pirates of the Caribbean movie franchise, he confirmed that they are currently working on two screenplays, one with and one without Margot Robbie. When asked if the Johnny Depp would return for the sequel, the producer said “Not at this point.
