Back in 2019, Arnold Schwarzenegger made an appearance onJimmy Kimmel Liveand shared how his son-in-law,Chris Prattwon his heart. He shared how he wanted to know the ‘inside scoop’ which is how he hit the gym together with the former.
“And of course the first thing when we met he says, ‘Can we have a workout together? I need to have the inside scoop to the pumping iron.’
He continued,
“Pumping iron was the decision-making factor. We were in the gym, that was it.”
Pratt’s one stunt totally made theTerminatorstar’s mind to have him as his son-in-law.
“And like I just said, when I watched him make his moves in the gym, the incline press specifically did it,”he said.“It’s why I wanted him to become my son-in-law was the incline press.”
Not only he impressed thePumping Ironstar with his gym tactics but asked for his daughter’s hands in a “very traditional way”before proposing to his love.

The legendary icon was quite impressed with Pratt’s asking for his permission traditionally before proposing to his daughter.
“I’m really happy that he is such a great guy. Not only a very talented guy and a great actor and a great star and all this stuff, but a really kind man and kind to my daughter, which is the most important thing for me.”
TheGuardians of the Galaxytrilogy star married his eldest daughter, Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019 after dating each other for six months. The duo was first spotted together on Father’s Day 2018 their interactions continued till he finally became a part of Schwarzenegger’s family.
Back in 2020, they welcomed their first child together, Lyla. In May 2022, they welcomed their second daughter, Eloise. The duo continues to stay a strong couple who intentionally keeps their children away from the limelight which is understandable given the influence MCU star holds. Not just that, his father-in-law is not only a superstar in bodybuilding but also a great actor making the spotlight much more intense. The duo is close to each other and has shared their fun moments on social media often.
