Ever since the first Xbox consoles, Microsoft has never changed its format or functionality, just improved the gaming experience with graphics, processing power, and gameplay. Head Phil Spencer promises an Xbox handheld improvement on the Microsoft console

Xbox supported the Asus Rog Ally device with Game Pass titles, but that and other devices run with Windows 11, making the experience not as perfect and refined as it should be on an Xbox console level, and Microsoft seems to be aware of that.

Phil Spencer, as we all gamer fans know is the head of Xbox, responded to a tweet on the Asus Rog Ally Gaming account during a fan query about what to expect for Xbox in a new UI-like device after Microsoft’s new console dashboard. Spencer said his team has“more to do”on devices like the Ally, and is“focused”to upgrade the gamer experience in general.

Love the feedback, thank you. We are focused on making the Xbox and GP experience great on devices like the Ally. It is great to see Xbox customers using the Ally to take their gaming with them on the go. More to do.@ash_speicher@Roanne_Sones

The debate between handheld and traditional console fans has lasted for quite a while now, and none of the sides can be proved wrong or right, it’s about personal preference for each gamer.

On the handheld side, we can lose the performance of some very refined titles, having the graphics and the data processing diminished but on the good side, portable devices allow you to take your games for travel or for going out with friends, giving more opportunities to enjoy your console.

Opposing to that, the traditional stay-at-home console like the PS5 or the Xbox One brings the maximum performance of a game while staying in the comfort of the home besides a TV you may improve the gaming experience.
