“You don’t really know what you’re getting into. And then you get a script sort of right before you start shooting and it all changes. And then it changes every day.”
In 2018, director Peyton Reed spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about Pfeiffer’s involvement in the film. Reed shared that the actress warned him that she could get cold feet, as she had tried to back out of every film she had ever made.
