During her recent interview, the Canadian actress talked about her possible return to the MCU in future projects and about how it’s not very easy to star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Rachel McAdams Talks About Starring in the MCU
During her recent interview with Empire Magazine,Rachel McAdamstalked about returning to the MCU, followed by her last appearance inDoctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.She shared that she cannot say anything for now, but she“wouldn’t be sad to keep going with it.”
TheMean Girlsactress shared that she finds her Marvel character fun, and with the presence of the multiverse, anything is possible. “It’s a fun part. And I liked that she’s gone in different directions now,”she said. McAdams also stated that one of the things she learned while working in the MCU is that“green-screen acting is hard.”She also shared,

“And that you have to be really fit to make a Marvel movie. I had to really tap into my figure-skating, sporty side from another life.”
Multiverse of Madnessfeatured two variants of Christine Palmer. One from the prime earth, who makes a brief appearance, and another from Earth 838, who’s a scientist at the Baxter Foundation and an ally of the Illuminati.

Doctor Strange 3Could Reportedly Release BeforeAvengers: Secret Wars
A few months earlier, insider Jason Kane claimed that Marvel Studios is planning to release multiple films in 2026, which could include aDoctor Strangethreequel,Avengers: Kang Dynasty, and anEternalssequel.
The scooper also claimed that Disney is planning to alter the release schedule ofAvatar 4 “to give Secret Wars December instead of pushing it to May 2027.”James Cameron has also said that the fourth film in theAvatarfranchise could take up to three years after the threequel, hinting that it might not come on-screen till 2027.

Similar to Rachel McAdams, Benedict Cumberbatch has also expressed his interest in featuring in the thirdDoctor Strangefilm. He said that he would love to do another film in the series as there is still so much more to explore about the character. The studio, however, has not said anything officially about aDoctor Strangethreequel yet.
